We were riding the bike trail and stopped here for a light lunch. I had the chicken sandwich, which was so darn tasty and my wife had a grilled Swiss cheese and apricot ice tea that both were so good. It was Lesa and one young man working so you just have to relax and wait a few minutes because your not at McD's. Glad we stopped here.
I've been to Miami and Havana, but Lesa T. makes the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. Can't beat the location, either.
Typical snack shop, serving hot dogs, snow cones, other snacks & various non-alcoholic beverages. Great location, just off the bike path. Big downer is that this place does not accept credit cards. In the year 2017, I would expect every place to accept credit cards and build the cost of processing into the price. Major disappointment as we would have spent more time here and more money had they accepted this form of payment.
Popular with bikers on the Sparta - Elroy trail. The staff are friendly, but seem a bit disorganized. Waited over twenty minutes for a chili cheese dog with a chocolate malt. The menu consists of sandwiches, hot dogs and ice cream. They do have a nice selection of vegetarian options.
The best chocolate milkshake!!! I got 2!! Also tried her Chicago dog and boy was it good!! The view while eating was a picnic table by the creek and it was very relaxing. Great stop on the Elroy Sparta trail
